How do I join the Tennis Forum?
The Ward's Island Tennis Forum is a discussion board for all tennis members. It is popular among members looking for updates on the courts and information on various events. Enter your email address below to subscribe to the Ward's Island Tennis Forum.
Can I view court conditions without having to go to the courts myself?
Yes. Court images are sent to a Google Drive folder every 15 minutes, with time stamps. You can access the Google Drive folder here.
Where can I get my tennis racket strung on the island?
Stringing services are provided by Scott Stein.
Stringing costs $25, or $50 if you also require strings. Scott keeps a record of stringing jobs, so that if a customer wants a slightly different feel next time it can be done. Stringing is often complete next-day. Customers are responsible for racket drop-off and pickup. |
What is the rain policy?
Please make every effort to stop playing when the rain begins. Play must definitely end if steps are making visible foot prints on the clay. It is important to still sweep even when it begins raining. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
What are the open hours for the courts?
Courts open at 8am every day.
Courts close one hour before dark, to allow our Maintenance Manager to water the clay.
