Wards Island Tennis offers tennis lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our experienced coaches will guide you through the basics of tennis, including proper technique, footwork, and strategy. We provide a supportive and fun learning environment, so you can feel confident and comfortable on the court. As you progress, we offer more advanced lessons that focus on strategy, fitness, and game play. Reach out to one of our Club Pros to start lessons today!
Weekly Clinics
Clinic times are subject to change due to changing daylight hours. Every week Marc sends an email confirming whether or not you can join a particular clinic. Clinic ratios are 4 to 1.

Cardio Tennis
Cardio Tennis is a group fitness activity using tennis as the vehicle to provide the aerobic and anaerobic workout. It includes a proper progressive sport specific warm-up, cardio games and cool-down. You will improve your footwork, gain more focus, and get to hit a lot of balls.
- $15 per person
- Thursday mornings at 8 am (COURT 3)
- Sunday mornings at 9 am (COURT 3)
Beginners Mix-and-Match Program
WIA Members Doryne Peace and Charlotte de Heinrich, both experienced and successful doubles players, generously volunteer their time to organize weekly ‘Mix and Match’ games for those who wish to build doubles experience, hone their skills, and meet new partners. This program runs every Tuesday evening, starting in June.
